Summary

Homelessness can be a complex issue to understand. ITAC staff and volunteers can help provide clarity.

Details

We understand that charitable organisations (Rotary Clubs, Lions, WI, etc), businesses, schools, university student societies and others want to help those they see on the streets but might not know where to start.

ITAC staff/volunteers can attend your meeting, visit your school, appear on your podcast or radio show, using their experience and expertise to provide clarity and suggest practical ways your organisation can support those in need.

Some recent podcast appearances:

Matt, our Coordinator & Community Engagement Manager, joined Sue Gowling from Laptops4Learning and host Rachel Hales from Get Synergised to discuss our partnership, aimed at providing those experiencing homelessness with refurbished smartphones and other devices. Listen here.

Matt was joined by Chris, our Support Services Manager, appeared on the TCS Podcast, talking about Crossways, housing supply, common misconceptions, women’s homelessness and how we work as a community in Britain’s most unequal city. Listen here.
